The gaming world heaved a collective sight at the state of Assassin’s Creed Unity, even if Jon still did think it was pretty damn decent in his review. Luckily though, fans of climbing towers/outposts/radio masts/viewpoints (delete as appropriate) are covered once more next week with the arrival of Far Cry 4.
Like any Far Cry worth its salt Far Cry 4 is crammed to the rafters with things to do, and if you want to know everything about everything there is know about Far Cry 4 then the 8-minute new 101 trailer should cover all the bases.
It’s all looking rather swish, and in Pagan Min it looks like Ubisoft has nailed the antagonist once more. I personally can’t wait to propel him off a cliff. The plots looking like it's a bit more of a focus this time around, but don’t let that distract you from the outpost domination which was so loved in the last outing. The enemy soldiers have been hatching some brain cells for FC4 though, and can now recapture outposts, ensuring you could theoretically never run out of places to stampede to the ground atop your elephant.
Far Cry 4 is out on November 18th in the US and November 20th for the rest of the world. Keep your eyes peeled on Game Debate next week for our Far Cry 4 review and benchmarks on a range of systems! Has your faith in Ubisoft been sapped after the litany of bugs in Assassin’s Creed Unity? Or can you not resist the urge to hurl rockets at jeeps? Let us know!
