Isaac Clarke teams up with John Carver on the frozen world of Tau Volantis. Isolated, swarming with scary monsters, this is the setting for the next Dead Space.

No soon have EA announced Dead Space 3 than we have in our hands the Dead Space 3 system requirements. Lets take a look...

Dead Space 3 Minimum System Requirements

OS: Win XP (SP3), Vista (SP1) or Win 7

CPU: 2.8 GHz processor or equivalent

RAM: 1 GB RAM (XP), 2 GB RAM (Vista or Windows 7)

GPU RAM: 256MB Video Card and Shader Model 3.0 required

GPU NVIDIA: GeForce 6800 or better (7300, 7600 GS, and 8500 are below minimum system requirements)

GPU ATI: X1600 Pro or better (X1300, X1300 Pro and HD2400 are below minimum system requirements)

HDD: At least 10GB of hard drive space for installation, plus additional space for saved games.

DX: DirectX 9.0c

OTHER: Internet connection for online authentication. Integrated Chipsets may experience issues. Please note that attempting to play the game using GPU hardware not listed may cause lowering of performance, graphical problems even stop the game from running.

There is a slim chance that these requirements will adjust over time but they are delivered with confidence so lets see shall we.

Dead Space 3 has been ear marked for a 2013 release. What do you think about the co-op play being touted in this version of DS3? Do you think it will dilute the scare factor? Do you think the white world of Tau Volantis is a good enough setting, when Dead Space traditionally explores dark environments or will this make a much needed change?

They completely took out the horror element from the trailer it looks more like an action game than anything else. And that's not good in my opinion. This is going through the same path Resident Evil went.

I agree Charlie D:: it is turning into an action game. I am still going to buy this game no matter what they do to destroy its originality. However, I Play Dead Space because its set on a ship and out in desolate space. In fact, I wouldn't mind another thrill ride on some other ship.
