Can I be dead honest for a minute?

I think these results show how childish our community has become now that GD is more famous.
I mean, really, all these Razer products, Alienware and other overpriced stuff...
Ooh well, I don't relly my hardware choices or reviews on GD anyway, but sad.

Perhaps we need more guides and reviews from our community leaders?

You know you could write some blogs/reviews yourself, give your own unbiased opinion, something I know I'd certainly read :)

What is wrong with razer products I for one think their keyboards are fantastic. I don't think someone who buys razer is childish. I like razer but I am not some cult fanboy over it and they keyboard was on the cheaper side of mechanical keyboards making it a better deal over all the other ones.

What is wrong is that none of their "gaming" keyboards are actually mechanical. They are just fancy looking membrane ones. And really overpriced, at that. Their only mechanical keyboard, the BlackWidow, uses Cherry MX Blue, which is far from the best for gaming. Well, it used to feature those modules. The Ultimate 2014 version uses some custom green switches made specifically for Razer in China. China. Why would you pay 140 euros for something with 2 months guarantee? Same goes for their mice. They are nothing special. My $20 A4Tech mouse used to offer more features than most Razer mice up until 2013, and it's a model from 2011.
Razer products do look good though, I'll give them that. And I like their headphones.

NVIDIA probably won because of GTX 970. I am not surprised by its performance but rather by its price. Considering it is NVIDIA, they went really low..

Best graphics hardware is.. GTX 970? What about the 980, which is more faster??

Way too expensive for the little extra performance it offers.

True but GTX 970 is more popular because of price/quality ratio.

I agree. GTX 970 is only 15% slower than GTX 980 but 40% cheaper.

Alright... Really? Who picked the Alienware alpha as the best pc in the us? It's not even a pc, it's a steam machine. & you can't say nvidia is better.

Clearly they had to make a choice and Nvidia has been better this year. Recently AMD is seriously catching up or overtaking with Mantle and new drivers.

I should have worded that better.i just feel like GD should have been more specific. Cause nvidia is probably more reliable, but amd is better price/performance

AMD have only released the r9 285 and some more 8gb versions of the 290x. Nvidia released a new GPU family, I think they deserved.

"a new GPU family" with gtx 970 and gtx 980, two cards...
now that's a damn small family.

I picked the Alpha as the best PC why cause you gotta look at its factor and how better does it performs than consoles at same price.

I am going to go on a limb and say a good portion of us rather build our computers instead of buying prebuilt ones. So I believe people just picked alienware because of the name instead of actually looking into the other computers all that much.
