Getting stranded on a desert island and becoming buddies with a deflated football isn't all it's cracked up to be in real life. Sure, you get plenty of sun, sea, and sun, but you can kiss goodbye to last remaining remnants of your sanity, and you'll probably to adjust to living entirely off of coconut flesh. Luckily Stranded Deep is here to save you the hassle of a crashing a plane in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Hitting Early Access in just a matter of days, Stranded Deep has you surviving solo on an island, hunting through sunken wrecks for supplies, spearing fish, crafting shelter or perhaps a raft, battling against dynamically altering weather that can have you fending off heatstroke one minute before fighting huge waves during a tropical storm. To find out whether your PC is Ray Mears or a gibbering wreck muttering to Wilson though then be sure to check out the official Stranded Deep system requirements first.
Stranded Deep Minimum System Requirements
- OS: Windows Vista 32-bit
- CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6305 1.86GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 400+ 2.1GHz
- RAM: 2GB System Memory
- GPU RAM: 512MB Video Memory
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 220 or AMD Radeon HD 4650
- HDD: 1GB Free Hard Drive Space
- DX: DirectX 9
Stranded Deep Recommended System Requirements
- OS: Windows 7 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i3-3240 3.4GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 40 3.0GHz
- RAM: 4GB System Memory
- GPU RAM: 2GB Video Memory
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti or AMD Radeon HD 6850
While Stranded Deep can potentially be a bit of a looker, these system requirements are in fact very low, particular the minimum system requirements which are reminiscent of much earlier in the last console generation. Perhaps most surprising is just how small the installation size for Stranded Deep is, weighing in at a tiny 1GB download. This will be down to the relatively small level design offered by the randomly generated desert islands, although it's likely to increase during Stranded Deep's progress through early progress.
On to the recommended system requirements for Stranded Deep and there's nothing particular eye-catching here. Memory and GPU demands are pretty run of the mill so this should be one desert island disaster that most gaming rigs can survive.
Remember, you can always check out how well your PC can run the Stranded Deep System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the Stranded Deep benchmark chart.

I can't see myself getting another early access game. The idea of early access is great, but so many disappointments come out of it. I haven't played an original finished game in a while.
PC Specs
It can't be finished like you said at the end if it's early-access

Which is my point, too many games are going into early access. IMO, it would be better to release alphas and betas for a limited time, get the gamers feedback and then release it fully. If funding is needed kick starter is always an option.
