All of the maps and modes available in the final release of Battlefield Hardline have been revealed by developer Visceral Games, including the final Crosshair gametype in which a farmer criminal turned state witness is on the run, with the cops aiming to protect him and the criminals looking to put him down for good. The twist is though that there’s only going to be one life each in those mode, so one bad move and you’re out until the end of the three-minute round.
The Battlefield classic Conquest makes a return, whereby two teams must fight for control over capture points, and it’ll be joined by the obligatory Team Deathmatch mode, Heist, Blood Money, and Hotwire. Heist was seen in the beta and has the criminals attempt to break-in and steal some priceless loot, Blood Money has the teams fighting over a large sum of money in a CTF style, while finally Hotwire mode is all about high-speed chases and nicking cars.
In total there will be nine maps available in Battlefield Hardline at launch, and you can check them all out below.
There's a few generic-looking clunkers in there but on the whole this looks like a decent set of maps, with Everglades, Riptide, and The Block in particular taking my fancy. They also look sufficiently different enough from Battlefield 4 to offer some genuinely different gameplay rather than a cops and robbers reskin.
Battlefield Hardline is out on March 17th in North America and March 19th in Europe, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, with a beta expected soon on all platforms. Which of these maps do you reckon will be your fave?
