Rumours might have been rife a few months back that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had received a Watch Dogs-esque graphical downgrade, but if these latest screenshots are anything to go by then we are in for a visual treat.
CD Projekt RED's sprawling RPG looks beyond incredible at the moment, with these latest screens showcasing Geralt going to toe to talon with a gigantic Griffin, as well as exploring some of the dense townscapes set to litter this vast world. It doesn't look like Geralt's too popular a chap wherever he goes though, particularly for someone who's kind enough to be a monster-hunter.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was delayed a little while back from its previously anticipated launch in February, and will now be arriving on May 19th worldwide, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. From the screenshots it's certainly a looker, so be sure to check out the official Witcher 3 system requirements to make sure you're gaming rig's up to the task come May.
What do you make of these gorgeous new screens then? Has The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt got game of the year written all over it? Let us know what you think!
