Capcom has revealed the world’s first trailer for Dragon’s Dogma Online, a multiplayer sequel of sorts to the original Dragon’s Dogma, which was console exclusive. Dragon’s Dogma Online is an action MMORPG set within a giant fantasy world, where you and your fellow players can go out on hunts to bring down towering monsters.
The F2P Dragon’s Dogma Online is set to come to PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3, and will be a pseudo MMO in that features a vast open-world and a lobby with support for up to 100 players, from which players can form parties of four for quests or up to eight to raid, before setting off into the unknown.
The trailer shows off a team of people taking down a variety of dragons, cyclops, and assorted beasties in imaginative ways, with Dragon's Dogma's action roots ensuring players can even grapple onto creatures and ride them.
While Capcom has yet to officially confirm Dragon’s Dogma Online for a western release, we’d be surprised if it doesn’t make it over after the original Dragon’s Dogma and Dark Arisen, both of which have achieved cult followings since. It’s due out in Japan at some point this year.
What do you think of this then, hope Dragon's Dogma Online makes it over for a western release?

I don't understand a thing about publishing and porting costs, but releasing a critically-acclaimed RPG on PC sounds like a way better way to make some quick, safe cash. Hell, it surely must be cheaper than developing an entirely new game that caters to an unbelievably saturated market - high fantasy MMOs.

Monster Hunter or I don't care.

And to make things worse, they have no plans to release this outside Japan.
Oh, Capcom, you are always so genius!
PC Specs
Just like the Monster Hunter PC game. They don't like international PCs apparently for their most badass games.

Let's just forget about this crap ever happened.

Why not just make a true sequel? Dragon's Dogma was a fantastic single player RPG. Why possibly ruin it with another stupid MMO?
PC Specs
Since its F2P its probably going to be trash and I'll probably not like it, I really enjoyed Dragons Dogma on xb360 though, instead of giving this garbage to us, why couldn't they just release a re-mastered Dragons Dogma DD because that's what alot want and I would definitely splash out some cash for.
PC Specs
Imagine the amount of mods DD can have if it's ever going to be released on PC.
PC Specs
Yeah it definitely would be awesome.

Oh look! it's Dragon's Dogma on P-
-Online-
Oh well at least we can still experience Dragon's Dogma on P-
-F2P-
Well...at least it's free on P-
-MICROTRANSACTIONS-
OH GOD

Well, if Capcom treats this game any way close to how they treat their mobile games, it might not actually be a bad F2P game. I'm just glad it's not another Square Enix MMO... Shudders
PC Specs
Oh they bring this over and not Monster Hunter Frontier.... wtf

There has been no word on this coming over to the West. So just like MH:F, we'll probably miss out on this too. Ever since MH moved to Nintendo, I've been wanting to slay children and dogs alike just to get a Western MH:F. I'd be surprised if we get this.

As much as I loathed the 3ds move from PSP, I came to enjoy it more. The bottom screen has some neat customization options :p Can't wait for the new one.
PC Specs
I hope this comes to the west. It would be the only MMO I'd play more than 3 minutes

I was hoping that you would port DD to pc, or maybe announced DD2, but i get this instead? i'll pass. Seriously.

Dragons Dogma was and amazing RPG. But i doubt that this would be a game i would like, since i hate MMOs.
