Rumours are circulating that the legendary Predator will be a playable character in Mortal Kombat X, and will be made available as part of a DLC pack set to hit in June.
The downloadable content is set to also to include CIA agent Colonel Al Dillion from the original Predator movie, played by Carl Weathers. Predator and Dillon in one DLC pack? Boy put them two together and baby, you’ve got a stew going.
Series creator Ed Boon has been dropping hints for some time now via his Twitter, reposting fan pictures of Predator and even suggesting a faceoff with Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees. Carl Weathers himself meanwhile has reportedly offered his likeness for the ultra-violent fighting game.
Warner Bros has yet to officially announce an downloadable content or season pass plans for Mortal Kombat X, although the last title featured a few cameos, including Nightmare on Elm Street's Freddy Krueger and God of War’s Kratos.
Mortal Kombat X is out on April 14th worldwide, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
