We’ve all secretly made plans for the zombie apocalypse. I’ve got a perfect hidey hole should someone come to feast on my brains, backed up by some excellent ziplining opportunity to the local Costcutters. You can never have too much tinned food. My end of the world plans unfortunately pale in comparison to the newly unveiled Dying Light: My Apocalypse Edition.

For ‘Only £250,000’ you get four Steelbook copies of the game on Xbox One, a trip to Techland in Wroclaw, Poland, to meet the development team, and zombie avoidance parkour lessons from Ampisound. Oh, and your own custom-built zombie-proof shelter, complete with a 10-year anti-zombie guarantee.

The house is built to order and comes with an upper deck for a 360 degree viewpoint of your surroundings, reinforced slit windows, walls and doors, barbed wire surround, an escape hatch, and and arsenal storage unit for weaponry. If the zombie hordes get a little too much for you, you can also relax in the kitchen and living areas with TV, Xbox One, and sound system, or escape to the garden section with its own dedicated vegetable patch.

One for the absolute nutters only this one, with only one of them up for grabs in the UK. You also get a Be the Zombie match with the devs thrown into the bargain and your face skinned onto the Night Hunter character model. The Dying Light My Apocalypse Collector’s Edition is out on February 27th.

Do you consider a zombie fortification cabin a must in this day and age? Will anyone be willing to drop £250K on this monstrosity?

Yeah like a zombie apocalypse will happen ever... It might only happen with lab doctors accidently messed around with some sort of virusses/infections, and the infection/virus spread.
