If you’re still plugging away at Dying Light you may have noticed a new trailer that loads on startup, teasing future content coming its way. We know already Dying Light’s getting a season pass’ worth of content, but on top of that it’s looking like we’re going to be getting dune buggies to tear around in.

Dying Light players will probably be thinking there’s surely no room for dune buggies in its cramped streets, but it looks like we’ll be able to go all Carmageddon in a sprawling new area. This will be joined by a bow and arrow weapon for silent ranged kills and a new time trial mode for high-score fiends.

We’ve listened to your feedback and we’re constantly working on ways to make your experience even better,” said Techland’s Paul Milewski. “We’ve already improved many aspects of the game, like the gameplay balance and the matchmaking in the Be the Zombie mode. We also have free content packs with a higher difficulty level, new character outfits, and much, much more.

We’ve got lots of amazing stuff in the works that will let you experience our game in a completely new way. So, stay in Harran for more awesomeness. Good Night, Good Luck.

Much of Dying Light's season pass content is already out, including Cuisine & Cargo, with the Ultimate Survivor Bundle coming sometime this month and The Bozark Horde arriving in May. This final DLC is set with the new Harran Stadium and is a wave-based horde mode, so it's looking as if the dune buggies are getting chucked in as an entirely separate update.

Pleased Techland is throwing so much post-launch support Dying Light's way? How do you think the dune buggies will be incorporated into Harran?

How 'bout you first fix the goddamn optimization in future updates and THEN concentrate on adding new weapons and other stuff?

They did release a patch that reduces RAM usage and improves usage of all CPU cores... But yes, I agree with you... They should have tested everything properly and released a finished and polished title in the first place...

Game runs just fine for me and others. Ask AMD for better drivers.

But... Omega was just released, which noticeably enhanced the performance of GCN-based Radeon cards. I don't have any interest in the game, but a friend of mine has a 7970, and he can't break 30FPS. Playable, but for a rig of that caliber that's unacceptable. I still think there are optimization issues on the AMD side.

Just released? It was released 3 months ago. That's a LONG time without a newer driver....

I would be very upset if I was still using my 270X.

Mm, sorry Zero but I'm going to agree with the top of the thread. There's no reason my hardware should drop to 30 fps when something spits on me. Or if I'm hit..... LOVE YOU

30fps? What? I don't go below 50 fps anymore with this latest patch.

You don't love me... :'(

I got really bored of this game, once you level up it becomes far to easy and repetitive.

Theres a new difficulty with features like healing over time an such. As for the repetitiveness, im hoping the cargo dlc with fix that.

Will this be an normal update or a cash grab DLC? I hope that it's the former.

Why the hell don't they include this stuff in the released game...? Are they that desperate to rush products to market that they forget to put some of their own ideas in...?

Sometimes it can be stuff they think of that they didn't have time to implement which they hopefully would add in as a free update.

In earlier interviews they said that the game originally had cars but they decided to focus on freerunning. Guess they are using the stuff from that for this.
