The triumvirate of life is undoubtedly dinosaurs, Lego, and Steven Spielberg. Head towards the epicentre where these three shall meet and you’ve got a Jurassic stew going, seasoned with a hint of Jeff Goldblum. Suffice to say, Lego Jurassic World is where it’s at, and this first ever gameplay trailer gives us a tantalising glimpse of what to expect from this summer block-buster.

Lego Jurassic World will be featuring all four films in the Jurassic Park series so in the event this summer’s new one is a load of old tosh we’ve at least got a couple of great films to fall back on. The less said about Jurassic Park 3 the better, forever blotting the series like a toothy Jar Jar Binks.

It seems like Traveller’s Tales is pulling all the real voiceovers from the movies, or else they’ve got some enviable impressionists in. Much like the other collections it’s likely Lego Jurassic World will work through the events of all four films sequentially, connected together via the Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna hub world.

Lego Jurassic World is out June for, deep breath, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U and 3DS. A concrete release date hasn’t been given yet but it’ll likely align with the movie opening on June 12th.

I love the LEGO games. So much content. I just wish they fix the annoying bugs because they seem carry on from game to game. The dynamic splitscreen is still buggy, using USB controllers are still a nightmare, the video options need to expand a bit more.

How to defeat the Indominus rex in Jurassic world: throw a few legos under her feet and watch her squeal in pain... Cruel and unusual punishment yes, but effective...

It's traveler's tales, not telltale. Not hard to get mixed up though.

This is a different Telltale to the one who makes the episodic games right?

It's a mistake, the lego games are made by Travelers Tales, not Telltale
