E3 2015 - Vote For Your Favourite E3 Press Conference

Written by Jon Sutton on Wed, Jun 17, 2015 5:30 PM

All the E3 2015 press conferences are over, and the dust has begun to settle on what's been an incredible few days in the gaming world. We've had game announcements and trailer reveals flying at us left, right and centre, with what's been one of the most chaotic E3's in years.

Much of this chaos stemmed from the fact we had not one, not two, but three additional press conferences this year, with Bethesda, Square Enix and the PC Gaming Show  all joining the usual E3 stalwarts - EA, Ubisoft, Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft. By now you've hopefully had enough time to check them all out, and we want to know the one you found the most entertaining, with the biggest surprises and best reveals.

In case you've forgotten some of what's happened during this whirlwind week, here’s a quick rundown of the main components of each publisher’s conference before you vote.

Bethesda E3 2015 Press Conference

Fallout 4. Need we say any more? Bethesda backed up one a reveal of one of the biggest games in years with a hefty slice of gameplay, demonstrating this is a deeper and more involving experience than any in the series before it. As if that wasn't enough, we also got treated to an ultra-violent demonstration of DOOM, a sneaky peek at Dishonored 2, some Elder Scrolls Online, Elder Scrolls Legends, BattleCry, and even the launch of free-to-play mobile game Fallout Shelter.

------------------------

Microsoft Xbox E3 2015 Press Conference

A lot of crowing was done before Microsoft's conference about how it would be the best Xbox E3 ever, but Microsoft managed to deliver and then some. A Halo 5 campaign reveal kicked things off with an emphatic bang, before game after game was announced and demoed. Show stealers included ReCore, an official Dark Souls 3 announcement, a Rise of the Tomb Raider demo, Gears of War 4 and heaps more.

------------------------

Electronic Arts E3 2015 Press Conference

Admit, you were here for one reason, and one reason only. EA knew this all too well, teasing Star Wars Battlefront for the entirety of the show, before finally unleashing the mother of all gameplay trailers. The rest of the show wasn't entirely without incident either; we got looks a Mass Effect Andromeda, Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, Need For Speed, Unravel, and a frankly mind boggling number of official sports tie-ins.

------------------------

Ubisoft E3 2015 Press Conference

South Park: The Fractured But Whole came out and surprised us all from the off, Ubisoft had previously said it wouldn't be touching another South Park game following its troubled development. Anyway, it's come, and it looks suitably hilarious. Then Ubi brought out the big guns, with Assassin's Creed Syndicate, The Division, and Rainbow Six Siege, before revealing Ghost Recon Wildlands and all-new IP For Honor

------------------------

Sony PlayStation E3 2015 Press Conference

While many of the other press conferences were interested in the here and now, Sony was all about showstopping reveals potentially years away from fruition. Ahead of E3 if you'd asked anyone whether any one of Shenmue 3, The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy VII Remake would've been announced, the answer would probably be no. Sony blew everyone away by announcing all three in a series of mic dropping moment, and backing this up with Guerilla Games' new IP Horizon: Zero Dawn, Hitman, No Man's Sky, and an incredible gameplay demo of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

------------------------

Nintendo E3 2015 Press Conference

Nintendo's pretty regular Nintendo Directs throughout the entire year meant its E3 Direct was disappointingly light on genuine news. The 3DS got the red carpet however, with a new 4-player Zelda game, an FPS Metroid spin-off, Yo-Kai Watch, and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam providing plenty for handheld gamers. Wii U fans had a little less to be excited by, with Star Fox Zero joining the previously announced Super Mario Maker.

------------------------

Square Enix E3 2015 Press Conference

Just Cause 3. Hitman. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Square Enix had the holy trinity to show off during its E3 2015 press conference, and they all looked pretty damn good, even if the press conference itself was a little flat. Square Enix's Japanese roots also came through strong, with Star Ocean V, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Nier sequel all getting some air time, among others.

------------------------

PC Gaming Show E3 2015 Press Conference

This marked the first year ever that PC got its own dedicated E3 press conference. Yay! Only a PC press conference could feature Minesweeper in its intro montage. Here we heard about Gears of War: Ultimate Edition coming to PC, more on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Star Citizen, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, Total War: Warhammer, Pillars of Eternity: The White March, Hitman, Arma III: Tanoa and ridiculous amounts more.

Now it’s over to you GD! Vote for your favourite below, and let us know below why you picked your chosen conference!

Square Enix all the way! One of my favorite studios of all time! I loved their broadcast and the guy that was talking was so chill and cool! However , I am also looking forward to Dishonored 2 . I loved the first one , however I don't really care about FallOut 4 (LET THE HATE TRAIN BEGIN)

Fallout 4 hype is genuine.

So genuine I could nuke 3/4 of the planet for absolutely no reason in excitement.

I'm not on the Fallout hype train, yet, despite loving FO3. Deus Ex and Doom looked fantastic and were on my radar before the event started. AMD's presentation was great, if their comments on it being a good overclocker is true, I'm in.

Easily Bethesda for me by far, Fallout 4 and Dishonoured are games I am very much looking forward to.

For me Sony came second just for Uncharted 4, I might just get PS4 just for that game.

Vote went to Bethesda because of Fallout and Dishonored, but Ubisoft is a close second because of The Division, Rainbow Six Siege, and Wildlands. I played the beta for Siege and it was pretty addicting. Also, I'm extremely stoked for Battlefront!!! Looks awesome.
