The deluge of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt free downloadable content continues apace, with CD Projekt RED publishing a new quest and an alternative look for Triss this week. The DLC is coming free of charge to all platforms, and should automatically download on Steam or via GOG’s DLC program pass.
The Triss Alternative Costume is pretty self-explanatory, offering a fairly revealing new outfit for Geralt’s beau Triss, which can be unlocked via the game options. The new quest might well be of more interest to current players however, offering up a new Scavenger Hunt for some exclusive new Wolf School Gear.
This is a long-lost set of Wolf School / Witcher gear, which promises some elite stats. Be warned though, this is some Level 14 armour, so you’ll be wanting to get this fairly early rather than leaving it to the end game.
You can find the treasure maps to begin the quest line from:
- Merchant at Lindenvale
- Armourer at Kaer Trolde
- Blacksmith at Kaer Muire
- Armourer at Hierarch Square in Novigrad
- Hattori in Novigrad
So far there's been 10 batches of DLC for The Witcher 3, with a further six still to come from CD Projekt RED, with a new pair dropping each and every week.
