The circle of adventure gaming is almost complete, with the King's Quest rebooting arriving later this month. The Odd Gentlemen and Sierra have been busy beavering away on this reimagining of an adventure game classic, which features an aging King Graham, star of the previous King's quests, regaling his granddaughter Gwendolyn with his grand tales of adventure.
King's Quest will be split it into five distinct chapters, arriving throughout this year and into early 2016. Expected a mix of puzzle-solving, witty quips, hilarious storytelling and deadly dragons. The first thing you've probably noticed is that the graphics cards needed for both recommended and minimum system requirements for King's Quest are identical. The trusty old 8800 GT is a very low end card by today's standards, suggesting King's Quest isn't a very demanding game visually. The minimal graphics and recommended hardware hint that there won't be a great deal of graphical options to mess around with.
The upshot is that the King's Quest reboot is going to work great on a wide range of systems, in particular it's going to be friendly for older systems and laptop gamers. The recommended requirements for King's Quest are still extremely low end, the only possible problem is that install size, which is a relatively large 20GB. King's Quest is an episodic game coming in five parts, so there is a chance you'll only need to have a fifth or so of this installed at any one time.
Remember, you can always check out how well your PC can run the King's Quest System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the King's Quest benchmark chart.

Nice and low system requirements for King's Quest then, will you be picking this up?

I am surprised they still exist, because of cheap solder nvidia used most of them died in 2-3 years, mine 9800GT was dead in 2 years and I had to re-flow solder in mine 250GTS(which is another re-rebrand of 8800) probably 3x
