Pair Of Assassins Creed Syndicate Trailers Takes Us On A Tour Of London

Wow, Ubisoft’s upping its game. Not content with releasing a new game trailer practically every day, it’s only gone and revealed two new Assassin’s Creed Syndicate trailers at the exact same time. Someone needs to remind their PR department about the Merge button.

This time around it’s a pair of fly by trailers, taking us on tours of the Lambeth borough of London and the Thames. You know, the bendy river from the beginning of Eastenders. Lambeth’s looking like a neat place, complete with its own massive asylum and more than a hint of murderousness about its charms. We get a good idea of just how closely Ubisoft is intending on mimicking the real streets of London, which on the basis of the current footage hasn't really seen its layout altered in the 150 years since.

The Thames fly by meanwhile seems remarkably light on fishing bodies on the water. In fact, dare I say it, it even looks a little jovial. Big Ben is towering over it; one of the largest buildings there has ever been to climb in an Assassin’s Creed game apparently. It stands at 316 foot tall at its peak so you’ll probably be holding forward + up for a while.

Assassin's Creed is out this coming Friday, October 23rd, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. we've got a little bit of a wait on planet PC unfortunately, with Ubisoft shoving it out the door on November 19th.

The graphics look like sh*t. A downgrade from Unity!

Same. With the latest patches, no problem in running 1080p60 Ultra. But, what concerns me is the graphical downgrade from Unity and bland story.

Huge difference between a 980ti and a 960 though haha. I just tried running Assassins Creed 3 fully maxed out and not even close to 60fps i was more at like 40. So it goes way back with unoptimization.

Haha, that was my way of saying that I don't care about optimization. Crappy optimization on games like Unity and Arkham Knight drove me to a 980Ti, a peace of mind :)

I thing the problem with these options is the huge size of the game.. or not.. I'm not a developer..

The team in Kiev is working to accommodate the myriad PC setups as they optimize the game. Kovalev tells us that PC requirements are still being finalized, and said that there will be no locks on the game as far as framerate and resolution goes. The recommended system requirements will target 1080p and 30 FPS

My guess is Unity all over again lol. Black flag at 30fps is horrid this is prob gonna require a 980ti or fury x.

They can make all the trailers they want, they can't fool us anymore! If I don't see a really good optimisation, I'm definetly not buying this game! I think they must change their strategy in order to restore our faith in the series and Ubisoft itself!

I am a big fan of Assassin's Creed, even though Unity broke my heart, owning literally all the games, but still.....Ubisoft needs to change this engine they created because the UI, the character model and animations are CRAP

There we go finally a trailer that looks good. Now lets wait for the requirements haha. Kinda off though since the game is a month ago from releasing. My guess is the requirements will probably be like Unity and for AMD users the game will probably run like crap.

Since they are using the same engine, they are more likely to optimize their engine and to introduce more graphics options to Change the level of lighting effects/ Draw Distance and crowd density. Lets just hope that they consider customer feedbacks from unity.

Brotherhood was a mess with optimization too, fps drop up the ass in that game.

Exactly, the engine used for Brotherhood was same for Relevations released after Brotherhood and it ran very well on old laptop(Potato) without any problem.
So it can go same for unity and syndicate as well.

I have no problem with trying out games like that, ive done so then ended up buying em. Problem is though that its not worth it anymore as game files are HUGE would take me a few days to download and online games that connect to servers usually have issues compared to offline.

I won't say for sure I'm gonna skip but rather I'm simply not interested in it enough to consider buying it. There's only one Assassin's Creed game I am interested in and that's Black Flag.
