Having been treated to plenty of extensive gameplay demos already, Naughty Dog used its spot at Paris Games Week to show off PS4 exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End’s multiplayer component. It’s not exactly been a huge selling point for previous Uncharted titles but it feels like a solid multiplayer element is needed nowadays to shift $60 games with campaigns which may last just 8-12 hours.

Uncharted 4 promises to come with precisely that. Designed to take advantage of the series’ trademark agility, each of the maps will be complex environments that reward exploration. Picking one of Uncharted’s iconic characters, you can also hire one of four sidekicks to help you out in the wild, tracking enemies, reviving allies and providing cover fire. There’s also Mystical items and supernatural perks inspired by the previous games. In the trailer we see the cursed El Dorado sarcophagus from Drake's Fortune, which infects everyone around it and kills them almost instantly.

Visually the trailer looks very odd. It’s kind of difficult to see where the CGI ends and the gameplay begins. It’s certainly nowhere near the visual quality of the single-player footage to be seen, but I guess that’s a sacrifice that’s got to be made to hit 60fps in multiplayer. Other than though Uncharted 4 looks like an absolute blast, and it reminds me a little of the Splinter Cell multiplayer in the way in which you can clamber about these rich environments to sneak up on your foes.

The Uncharted 4: A Thief's End multiplayer beta will be running from December 4th through to the 13th. To gain access you'll need a code, which you can only get for coughing up for the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. If you don't fancy spending £40 for a beta then you haven't got too long to wait; Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is out worldwide on March 18th, 2016.

I have seen some, Like for example I do not play the game but my brother does, its called ARK. at first I thought it would be like Rust early access when it begins to slow down in updates. but from what I have seen the A.R.K devs are updating like every week. But yes I do wish most 3rd party devs put a bit more time into the PC

WILL buy a PS4 for this game.
Then pick up Bloodborne, Infamous; Second Son and Until Dawn.

I so need to get Until Dawn. I already have Bloodborne and inFamous: Second Son. While you're at it, you should probably get inFamous: First Light as well - it's a prequel to Second Son. Thinking of buying it myself

Actually, those are all in-game footage running in real-time, Jon... Nothing's CGI here.

while I loved Uncharted 2, I really disliked UC3, and since then there has yet to be a PS4 game that would "force" me to buy the PS4. unless somehow Person 5 is not going on PS3 and soon which is obvious on PS Vita. I have no purpose buying the PS4/XBOX one. Only if only Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, Spyro somehow gets a reboot then maybe just maybe I will buy a PS4 for my past sake. I know I will get lots of dislikes but for me there has yet been a game on PS4 that will make me shed my hard earned bloodmoney :D for the "next gen" consoles.

Have you seen Detroit, Uncharted 4 SP, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Order, Until Dawn graphics? The PS4 is not weak at all

Until Dawn can't even hold 30fps, you are looking at graphics but you are not even explaining the fact the system is weak, its like playing the most photo-realistic game at 25 fps, and you say wow my system is powerful. also you are static Uncharted 4 lol, I have seen other games like Tomb Raider that look better than Uncharted 4, can't wait to see how Detroit frames will be

I said the console was weak, and telling from Frame Rate, Resolution the console is weak, Uncharted 4 - 900p/60 multiplayer, Singleplayer 1080/30, Until Dawn Avg Fps 25-28 can't even achieve a steady 30, and Detroit pretty obvious it will be like Until Dawn in frames category, you can't say optimization because the PS4 api is low so gives more hardware room. All you are looking for is graphics, you can also get a cheap 300-400 pc run the game maxed and get 30fps, its still a weak machine, Also the pic with the vehicle is nice I can't lie about that.

You clearly have no idea what the PS4 is capable of. Also Until Dawn is crappily coded.

I base the PS4 at its specs and its specs are a very low budget pc, what makes it run a bit better than a low budget pc is the API it uses, now the problem is, The PS4 is using a PC architecture now which is pretty much giving full optimization for most of its games. It seems you do not know its full capability cause in 1 to 2 years the PS4 to gain its 60fps will be lowering its resolution. Also I never said its games do not look bad, but you sir talk about "crappily coded" lol The PS4 itself has a low usage API pretty much letting it use all hardware

now tell me what is the PS4 full capability, cause it seems you do not know hardware then. The PS4 is weak and will become weaker in two years when the (minimum specs on a pc becomes much greater). lol "Crappily Coded" The game looks amazing and that is the problem the game is using the PS4 full hardware which is not much. Here is source for PS4 Architecture Architecture

The PS4 is NOTHING like a PC. PS4 is NOT using standard PC architecture. Show me a garlic/onion memory bus on PC. I am well aware of the potential of the PS4. ZERO multiplatform games use GNM API. It is impossible to determine the full capabilities of the PS4. Until Dawn looks crap compared to Horizon, UC4, Detroit...

Yeah I upvoted that comment because it's true PS4 is nothing like a PC though it shares PC architecture. Here's a vid that explains the difference between PC and PS4/XB1 in-depth: Link Watch it till the end.
