Following the leaked image from Steam earlier this week, Square Enix has confirmed Dragon Quest Heroes is coming to PC in just a fortnight's time. The Musou-style hack and slash is from the creators of the Dynasty Warriors series, transforming Square Enix's beloved RPG series into large-scale, action-packed warfare.
Going by the full name Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below, the PC port comes with support for higher resolutions, along with some exclusive new gear, including eleven additional weapons and two bonus maps. It's a nice surprise considering we didn't even know this game existed on PC this time last week. To find out whether your PC's got what it takes to be a Metal Slime, have a look at the Dragon Quest Heroes system requirements.

Dragon Quest Heroes continues in the fine Japanese port tradition of plucking CPU requirements out of a hat. A quick glance over everything else reveals it all to be as expected, but there's no way on Earth these two processors are needed for minimum and recommended respectively. Remember this is a game which also launched on the PS3, which has an absolutely ancient Cell processor. As such I'd think it likely you could get away with far less than what's suggested here on PC, with the recommended in particular being right at the high end. Remember if you've got any questions about your performance in this game then head over to Dragon Quest Heroes game page, where you can always find answers from the the helpful GD community.
Elsewhere this is a respectable set of system requirements, without cause for concern for most modern gaming systems. One caveat is you're going to need a 64-bit system, although judging from Steam's hardware survey there aren't too many of you still lurking with a 32-bit OS.
Dragon Quest Heroes is a game that's sure to get hectic during the larger battles with a huge number of characters of screen, so it's important you keep the settings down to ensure a stable frame rate during these tricky fights.
One last thing is Dragon Quest Heroes is going to have been designed from the ground up with gamepad support in mind, so there's bound to be little thought given to the keyboard layout. If you've got a 360 controller lying around, or a DualShock, then it's going to be worth using.
