Delays are ten-a-penny these days, but it still doesn’t help me with the crushing news that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed until April 27th. Okay, okay, so that’s only about six more weeks in the oven, but by God I was looking forward to it. That packed Q1 2016 lineup has swiftly ended up looking decidedly threadbare now.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is wrapping up production and is shaping up to be the proper send off for Nathan Drake that we’ve promised you,” writes Neil Druckmann. Yes, Neil, that sounds fantastic. Go on… “The bad news is that we need a bit more time to finish the game so that it meets our standards and vision. Let’s cut to the chase, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has a new release date in the PAL region of 27th April 27, 2016 (29th April in the UK).” Oh. Cancel Christmas. It’s over.

As always it’s the polishing excuse which has been trotted out, but I tend to believe Naughty Dog when they say they want to get a game as perfect as possible for launch. There’s no yearly deadlines to stick to here, so hopefully there’s little chance of any widespread bugs or performance issues.

Chin up though, have a new trailer to help ease those genocidal tomb raiding woes.

I don't mind delays particularly in light of this generation's tendencies. But I'm gonna be in a Dark Souls 3 vortex at that point. :p

After posting a lot of disappointed comments on most "another delayed game" posts, I will from now on start to comment "Pahahahah" when such news are shown in GD, as a way to demonstrate my non-admiration at such bull-s**** the developers keep throwing at us.

Lately With every game delay comes a broken game, I have a feeling this is also going to suffer the same cruel fate as every other delayed Triple A game thats been released lately.

I highly doubt the same thing will happen with a Naughty Dog game, they have a history of the Midas touch. All the Crash Bandicoot games they made were gold, Uncharted games all good, The Last Of Us - Gold... I'm not gonna pre order the game, because of all the recent mess ups recently, I don't expect the same frm ND
