We’re creeping up to the launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. All eyes are on Naughty Dog to see whether the esteemed studio can pull it out the bag yet again when Uncharted 4 launches next month. Surely it’s about time they had a dud? Well, on the basis of the latest juicy details emerging from a recent preview event it’s shaping up to be anything but.

From the sounds of things levels are much, much larger than any seen before in the series, with multiple ways and routes for Nate to go about his business. This is designed to encourage exploration and an almost Metal Gear Solid V approach to some levels, including marking enemies, sneaking in stealthily, and hiding bodies from view.

Don’t worry if you thought Naughty Dog had forgotten we’re all here for booming explosions and jaw dropping set pieces, in these latest Uncharted 4 pics Nathan Drake is hurling himself away from an explosion in no less than half of them.

According to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End game director Bruce Straley he reckons this latest adventure "the most visually stunning game ever created". We’ll be the judge of that when, following a couple of lengthy delays, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End hits PlayStation 4 on May 10th worldwide.

The people from Naughty Dog should do a favor to humanity and start develop games for pc.

so it's not a favour for humanity if they develop for PlayStation? Also, they have released games for PC in the past

What i mean is, if they can get those graphics and that performance on a console game imagine what they could do on pc.

"Muh muh graphics" Depends on the PC, and what the average PC is. Developing solely for the top end would be suicidal financially. Most PCs are weaker than a PS4. That includes PCs with a 750Ti. Do research on the specifications of the PS4 if you don't believe me

So in the 4th game Nathan Drake can fly? Did not see that coming :P. Really looking forward to this game, hopefully this series goes out on a high, it deserves that much, and I suspect Naughty Dog will deliver.

Mark My Words - This Game will be full of WTF/OH MAN/SIGH moments for visuals and animation with superb graphics. BUT - There is 0 value to Game Design in such Games don't interest me at all. After all its a Naughty Dog product.

Do you see anything innovative in Game like Uncharted/Tomb Raider and similar having anything new to offer. Nopes for me. Point A to B, take cover, shoot. That's it. Dull and boring. See The Witcher/Skyrim/XCOM. THE games actually innovate.

I see lots of innovation in Uncharted 4 compared to UC1-3

Then you fail to see what type of games the Uncharted series are known for. It is heavily based on the story, and has to be one of the best storylines out there.

The gameplay, whilst doing nothing new, it is well refined and is the icing on top. The games you mentioned are completely different, what Uncharted innovates in is story telling, and it is amongst the best.

I know very well. A ripped off Tomb Raider with a Male Protagonist. That's it Folks. And When did story become the 10/10 success formula for Games. This means anyone playing Mario Games is a total fool, Right? Hope It doesn't hurt fanboys

There is a game for every occassion, no one game can rule all games in my opinion.

But I do believe a game can rule it's genre, and Uncharted is pretty close to the top of it's target genre, even forced Tomb Raider creators to reimagine their heroine, and that turned out pretty great too.

I must ask, and please answer honestly, have you played any of the Uncharted games?

I don't play stuff I've already tasted in other franchise. If I get that in Tomb Raider, why go somewhere else - SAME GAMEPLAY with little improvements.

Well there you go, you are completely writing off a game before you've even tried it. The characters alone are reason enough to play the Uncharted games and that's just one reason.

Kinda like saying "If you've played Skyrim, then you've played all RPG games" which is just plain wrong.

But since you have already made up your mind, I won't bother you any further.

Good day.
