It's got giant sharks that can eat ships. If that doesn't make you want to play Man O' War: Corsair, I don't know what will. Under development at Evil Twin Artworks and based on the classic Games Workshop tabletop game of the same name, Man O' War: Corsair is all about large-scale naval combat, trading, and exploration of the high seas. All the best bits of Black Flag, basically, with none of the deadwood. And did I mention it's got giant sharks?
Man O' War: Corsair is hitting Steam Early Access next week, bringing with it the first slice of tactical naval warfare, with full boarding actions ship plundering, and working trade systems. Before you leave port though, make sure your rig's not going to get keelhauled and check out Man O' War: Corsair's official system requirements.

Despite being an indie title through and through, Man O' War: Corsair is still a bit of battler in the graphics department. The epic-scale battles look quite the sight in early footage we've seen, and so if you want to crank all them settings up then you'll need the requisite hardware.
Luckily there is a pretty huge gulf between the the minimum and recommended system requirements for Man O' War: Corsair, so there's hopefully going to be plenty of options to tweak to achieve your desired performance. Down at the low end you can squeeze by an ancient yet at the time high-end GeForce GTX 280 graphics card. As you can see its modern AMD equivalent is a now mid to low end GPU so most people should be covered here.
There's a huge jump up to the recommended requirements, demanding some of the latest and greatest components for optimum performance in Man O' War: Corsair. Bear in mind it is still in Early Access so there's surely going to be optimisation going on behind the scenes, and these system requirements are based on the limited hardware the dev team has access to.
Remember, you can always check out how well your PC can run the Man O' War: Corsair System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the Man O' War: Corsair benchmark chart.

The R7 360 is miles better than the GTX 280 ... same goes for the FX and the i5 although the difference between them isn't that significant

I didn't know 280s even existed. xD

too high recommended requirements for what i have seen in the gameplay videos. way worse than black flag. maybe because it is still in early access but still ridiculous :p

Very odd requirements again, 6600k and 8320 aren't equal at all, same can be said for a GTX 280 and a R7 360...
