Take-Two has said during a recent financial earnings call that it is preparing to reveal multiple new Rockstar games to the public “soon.”

"Rockstar Games is also hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon," said Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick.

One of these is expected to be oft-rumoured Red Dead 3 / Red Dead Redemption 2, but it’s unclear just what the other title could be at this stage. It seems a little early for a GTA 6 announcement, particularly with Grand Theft Auto Online continuing to be a huge earner for Rockstar.

In other news, Take-Two suffered a net loss of $38.6 million for the first fiscal quarter of 2017, no doubt largely down to the poor critical and commercial success of Gearbox’s Battleborn. That’s still 13% up on last year though, demonstrating a publisher moving in the right direction.

"In terms of its reception by consumers and reviewers, Battleborn did [live up to expectations]," Zelnick said. "It terms of its economic performance, it did not. So that was a bit of a disappointment. The good news is we have a powerful enough enterprise and a diverse array of products, and as a result we were able to deliver a good, solid quarter with revenue being up over expectations.”

As for Rockstar, when do you think it’s planning to reveal its next titles? What could they be? Let us know your thoughts!
