If somehow, I don’t know how, but somehow, you’ve managed to resist playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for the last 15 or so months, now might be the perfect time to jump in. I say this because CD Projekt RED has confirmed what we’ve all been pretty sure of for some time - The Witcher 3 Game of Year Edition is launching later this month.
Those who haven’t bought the game before will be able to pick up the Complete Edition for $50 on PC, PS4 or Xbox One. In it you get a frankly obscene amount of game for your money, including the base game, 16 additional DLC packs, Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine. The expansions alone could probably last you a good 60 hours, and I have a feeling Blood & Wine will be up for a few game of the year awards itself later in the year.
So there you have it. If for some reason you’ve been holding out then there’s never been a better time to get stuck into The Witcher 3. If you’re thinking of giving it a buy, remember to head to The Witcher 3 game page to compare its system requirements with your specs and discover your estimated performance.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Game of the Year Edition is out on August 30th.
