The likes of Sony might be choosing to stay away, but Ubisoft is at Gamescom 2016 in Cologne in full force. We’ve been treated to the first ever look at Watch Dogs 2’s multiplayer, which attempts to expand on the original’s PvP in just about every way.

The same core invasion and races remain, but Ubisoft is looking to add additional depth with specialised gadgets and the new Bounty mode. Kill enough civilians or cause enough chaos and you could end up with a bounty on your head. Up to three players will then be offered contracts to take you down simultaneously, but if you can beat the odds and turn the tables on them, even bigger bonuses await.

More possibilities for hacking turns Watch Dogs 2’s Invasions on their heads also. Whereby players could previous find a sneaky hiding spot and just camp, the new bomb-toting drones means nowhere is safe. Likewise, you can remotely hack vehicles in order to take down a player, or even shepherd them towards your actual location.

From the sounds of things co-op is going to be totally separate from the main campaign in Watch Dogs 2, but there will be dynamically generated missions that you can play with a partner to unlock new tools and abilities.

Watch Dogs 2 is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 15th.
