Out of all the big-budget, bombastic shooters coming out in the next month, it’s Titanfall 2’s campaign which shows the most promise. Quite a turn events for a franchise which didn’t even have single-player first time around. There’s a new trailer out from Respawn with a number of key devs talking about their vision for Titanfall 2’s single-player gameplay, which evidently draws quite a hefty inspiration from the likes of Portal, of all things.
FPS campaigns have been a bit generic for a fews year now, barring a few exceptions such as DOOM and Wolfenstein: The New Order. Titanfall 2 looks to mix up the usual over-the-top setpieces and corridor shooting action with slower moments of puzzling and platforming, utilising different Titan’s unique skills in order to navigate the map.
I know none of us have been expecting it, but I think Titanfall 2’s got an absolutely fantastic ace card up its sleeve with the campaign. Too often an afterthought these days, I’m getting reminded of classic shooter campaigns from yesteryear. They couldn’t actually follow through on its promise, could they?
Not long to go to find out now - Titanfall 2 is out on October 28th.

You know what? I think I'll get this game. What's the install size? Have they reduced it at all since the first?
PC Specs
I think I'm getting it too, since i really liked the first one. I think the size is going to stay the same or actually be bigger since they added more stuff.
PC Specs
Hopefully not. I'd appreciate it if they knocked off the other languages I don't speak and actually compressed their audio this time.
