Why is there even an Early Access and Mobile Game category?
Early Access is more burn than cool. And mobile games are just paywall-infested casino style hooking on games of the early 2000s on the web that is repackaged for mobile. Absolute Garbage!

You know it's a decent year when COD didn't take half the awards. You know it's a GOOD year when there's no COD in sight at all!

For a great year I'd personally like to see no battlefield either, but that's just the idealist in me talking... :D

The games speak for themselves, nothing overrated there. If you think Bethesda is overrated then I'd love to see your views on COD O_O

Don't quite get how overwatch is "original" if in every displayed award it got tf2 was mentioned.

Bethesda is best publisher? really? after the whole Dishonored 2 thing? all they did was release a remaster of Skyrim otherwise they didn't really do anything note worthy this year, if anything I think Blizzard should get the crown, Heroes of the Storm, hearth Stone, OVERWATCH?

Thats the first thing I thought as well. I mean they released DOOM which was great but apart from that their releases were mediocre at best... They have let me down so much with dishonored... I was waiting for this game like no other and it runs like that... if only they had used the idtech 6 of doom instead of 5... it would have been the ultimate game.

They used idTech5 on Dishonored2? Eh? I remember running RAGE at 4K on a single GTX 780M laptop card at 60fps flat, surely couldn't have been that ba.....oh wait...Denuvo...

not sure why you're using HotS as an example. That game is a travesty but I think Blizzard is the better publisher here. no preorder nonsense or anything like that. overwatch's success speaks for itself. and starcraft's getting an hd remaster. bethesda would have had my vote if they hadn't screwed up Dishonored 2.
