The Wood Elves are coming to Total War: Warhammer next week, promising the biggest shift yet in how Creative Assembly’s fantasy epic plays out. Able to call anywhere home, the Wood Elves upset the traditional dynamic and have an all-new winning condition of growing a gigantic tree called the Oak of Ages. CA tout it as the biggest expansion yet, which isn’t saying much in truth, and in a brand new Let’s Play you can see the Realm of the Wood Elves in action.

In the video you can see the Wood Elves have a number of glass cannon style units, packing great mobility and a huge punch yet also being extremely vulnerable. Not only do they have best archers, the Wood Elves also pack Great Eagles and the gigantic Treemen units. Just watch out for fire though, they don’t take too kindly to that.

Total Warhammer: Realm of the Wood Elves is out on December 8th, priced at £13.99.

Quite simply, do not buy all DLC's, but the ones that sprout your interests. There's enough to be done with the base game + free dlc's, since every race has a totally different campaign and each campaign is worthy of many hours. For that same price, you can also play vs other players and/or even do lengthy co-op/h2h campaigns.

Not too shabby if you ask me. I haven't bought all dlc's either.
