Well Playstation has had another great year, we’ve seen the release of Playstation VR
and a myriad of stellar titles from Rez infinite to Uncharted 4, but as we draw closer to the end of the year, what are we looking forward to most in the world of Playstation exclusives yet to come. So let’s get straight into what we’re eagerly anticipating most out of 2017!

Yakuza Zero
This open world action-adventure has had Jon on the edge of his seat and luckily he won’t have to wait much longer to get his greasy mitts on it. Coming to the rest of the world 24th of January, Yakuza Zero is prequel to the original Yakuza and will whisk you away to the gangster filled world of Japan in 1988. With more characters fighting styles than you can shake a stick at, we’re hyped for this early offering 2017 has for us.

Detroit: Become Human
It takes quite a lot for a game trailer to hit as hard as Detroit: Become Human’s did. Boy o boy did it give us tingles at this years E3, even more so at 2015’s Paris game week. Here at Game Debate we having everything we possibly can crossed for this title to come out next year and the rumours are beginning to show that maybe we just might. Looking to be similar in style to Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls (two great titles), who knows where this game will take us.

Nioh
Made by Team Ninja, the people behind Ninja Gaiden, Hyrule Warriors and Dead Or Alive, this is another game set for an early 2017 release. Starting in America being released on the 7th of February and moving its way across the world, stopping off in the PAL region on the 8th to finish off at Japan on the 9th this title is sure to blow our noggins off at the beginning of the new year. An action role playing game set in the 1600s we will get to play as a Western Samurai known as William on his hack and slash journey through the beginning of the Edo period in Japan. Wicked cool.

Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy
How could you not be pumped for this one? A whole bucket load of Crash Bandicoot titles remastered by one of the greatest game developers around at the moment, Naughty Dog. This isn’t a reboot, there’s no risk that he’s going to start building contraptions instead of playing the actual game *cough* Banjo and Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts *cough* just the games that we loved put into the resolution we want to see. Bring it on 2017.

Days Gone
Oooo boy there’s looking to be some great zombie survival horror games coming out in 2017 and Days Gone is sure looking to be one of them. Sorry, it’s not a zombie game, they’re not zombies, they’re freakers, apparently it’s a sore subject, but regardless if you saw the gameplay at E3 2016 (it was the one where the main character gets chased by at least a thousand zombies whilst trapped in an old barn that he’d just driven to on his motorbike) you can understand why we’re excited. If you didn’t see the footage- if you’re not hooked from that sentence alone, we’re not sure what will hook you. To summarise, we can’t wait.

Are you excited by these stellar Playstation titles? Are there any you think we’ve missed? Let us know in the comment section beloooow!

Look at those exclusives library of Playstation games, Sony is really good on keeping the market alive and we are PC gamers only hoping some games come to PC (even wait for years). Microsoft and Nintendo really need to work more harder. Playstation 4 I guess is worth to have now, if you can't resist their games.

I love vocaloid too (damn that song is really old for me, likely since first I hooked by vocaloid), I much prefer real concert, the games is too much for me (I can't hold japanese fan service things). Game is enjoyable and with so many songs to play, i guess i'll take it :)

Concerts look amazing, but they never go anywhere close to where I live :/ And yeah... Fan service is quite annoying.

It's not always horror, but it definitely has it's moments. I tried to fight a goon but he exploded a barrel which pissed off a bunch of Virals. I dealt with all that while one of them was spitting its guts at me.

The amount of games I want to play that are PS4 or console exclusives is slowly getting to the point that I might actually buy a PS4

I'd only ever buy a ps4 if the FF7 remake doesn't get a pc release. I played it like 13 years ago once, now about 1 year ago I played the steam version for 50h, my hdd died and so did my savegame. :(
Also KH3 might be cool if it ever comes..

Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, Yakuza Zero and Gravity Rush 2 are the only games that I'm excited about in 2017. I have a bit of interest in MEA, but not much.

I heard when it was first announced way back that is would launch to PS4 exclusively, then come to PC after, but since then I've seen no mention of PC, Wiki says PS4 exclusive, so it may have been scrapped for PC. I hope not though.

Unless they release the Resistance Trilogy on PS4 there's nothing that really excites me, outside of Gravity Rush.
