You can almost hear EA’s well-oiled marketing machine shifting up a gear with the arrival of Mass Effect Andromeda’s second cinematic trailer. This one’s definitely a little more plot heavy than some of the other trailers we’ve, sharing the rough plot of what we can expect from this all-new outing. Naturally enough this means spoilers aplenty. You have been warned.

In the trailer we saw the remaining stragglers of humanity set off on a grand quest to find a new habitable planet. The only problem is, every alien race would probably like a Goldilocks planet to call home. Cue galactic warfare, extra-terrestrial warbling and plenty of inter-species tonsil tennis.

We're still waiting on the official ME: Andromeda system requirements, but earlier this week we found out from producer Michael Gamble that a GeForce GTX 745 graphics card would be capable of running the game decently. This is a fairly low-end graphics card so Mass Effect 4 should hopefully support a wide range of gaming systems.

I’ve had my doubts about Mass Effect Andromeda arriving on time, but it does indeed seem as if both EA and BioWare are confident it is on track for a March 21st release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The most important question:
Apart from all the powers, abilities and tactics available, will this game employ the crucial gameplay mechanic of being able to 'do the Shepard?' :D :D :D

does anyone else think that the human facial animations look odd still? It's like that in all the ME games. The aliens look really, really good and then the humans just look odd.

It's a Frostbite engine game, and requirements for those tend to be pretty reasonable. You should be okay.
