I'm not particularly up to date with what the world of Berserk is, but folks are very much excited about the anime series being blended with Koei Tecmo's mosou Warriors franchise. Berserk and the Band of the Hawk promises to be a seriously OTT action game with huge battles and a fully story arc to plow through. Before you grab your 8-foot blade though, check out the official Berserk and the Band of the Hawk system requirements to ensure your rig's up to the task.

It has to be said, Koei Tecmo has been unusually thorough with these system requirements for Berserk and the Band of the Hawk. Usually console ports from Japanese publishers can get thrown onto Steam with barely a thought about the system specs, but we've got the whole range covered from the literal minimum right up to play Berserk at 4K.

Those minimum requirements for Berserk and the Band of the Hawk are really low-end, however it's worth bearing in mind this is to play at just 640 x 480. It's not going to look great but you will at least be able to run Berserk with an Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 or a Radeon R7 240. The CPU requirements are obscene on minimum. I wouldn't worry too much about this, I'd imagine you'll be fine even when player with an older i3, although we will look to test this once Berserk launches.

The recommend specs meanwhile are for 1080p. This is what you'll need for a solid gaming experience and by today's standards these requirements are quite low, putting aside the once again ridiculous recommended CPUs. You'll be needing a DirectX 11 graphics card with 2GB VRAM if you want to crank it up to Ultra, as well as 8GB of system memory.

Lastly we've got 4K, for those of you fortunate enough to have a 4K monitor. The system requirements for Berserk and the Band of the Hawk at 4K remain exactly the same as the recommended except you'll be needing a far more powerful graphics card, eg a GTX 980, Radeon Rx 480 or equivalent.
