Bethesda and Zenimax are beginning to crank up the hype for the upcoming The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind expansion. The latest trailer highlights an aspect that was never possible in the original Morrowind - PvP Battlegrounds. Three teams of four players are going to be able to duke it out in small-scale, fast-paced player versus player combat. It’s all a bit more structured that your typical Cyrodiil PvP fare, placing an emphasis on group composition and meta tactics.

Rather than just gank each other in the woods, players can toss each into pits of lava, summon war bears to battle by their side, using the battle arenas to their advantage.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is going to be out on June 6th, 2017. If you’re new to the game then this expansion also includes the base version of The Elder Scrolls Online, totalling a good thousand hours or so of content.
