Originally announced way back during E3 2014, Microsoft has at long last confirmed Crackdown 3 will be dropping on November 7th, 2017. That’s day and date with the Xbox One X. The reveal was joined by a brand spanking new trailer for the single-player campaign, starring none other than, erm, Terry Crews as Commander Jaxon.

If you eyed that trailer as I did and wondered what in blue hell happened to all the destructible environments, that’s because the cloud-powered destruction is going to be limited to the multiplayer modes in Crackdown 3. Boo. Hiss.

Other than that, it's Crackdown 3 alright. There's big pyrotechnic explosions, car hurling, super powers, cel-shaded visuals and agility orbs to collect. So far, so Crackdown. We'll have to wait and see what the key changes are since Crackdown 3 when it launches on November 7th for PC and Xbox One.
