The bat's back for another bout of crime-fighting in Gotham City. Late last week Telltale Games announced a triple whammy of new titles, including the return of Bruce Wayne with the second season of Batman: The Enemy Within - The Telltale Series. The sesquipedalian name aside, it looks like an intriguing and often gruesome tale for DC fans. Don't don your cape just yet though, here are the official PC Batman: The Enemy Within system requirements.

Telltale's Batman: The Enemy Within Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5800+ 3.0GHz
  • RAM: 3 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 1024MB Video Memory
  • GPU: GeForce GTS 450 or Radeon HD 6750
  • HDD: 15 GB available hard drive space
  • DX: DirectX 11

Telltale's games have long been friendly for entry-level PCs, and Batman: The Enemy Within is no different. This is a game series which Telltale wants to work on as wide a range of systems as possible, including phones, so it makes a great deal of sense to have very low minimum specs. These requirements for Batman: Season 2 are still much higher than some of Telltale's older games, a change which happened when Telltale upgrade its engine.

As for Batman: The Enemy Within, these are exactly the same system requirements as for Batman: The Telltale Series, barring a new 15GB installation requirement. All you need to play Batman: The Second Season on PC is a DirectX 11 capable graphics card, a 64-bit operating system, and a dual core process bought within the last six or seven years. Anything else is just a plus.

In true Telltale fashion, there are no recommended specs for Batman: The Enemy Within. It's likely the minimum specs can play the game fairly well, but if you want to max it out then perhaps you'd want a video card with 2GB VRAM, such as the GTX 750 Ti, paired with 4GB RAM.

As ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run the Batman: The Enemy Within - A Telltale Game Series System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Yea, the first one had issues. I didn't experience anything I did with Batman in New Frontier or Guardians of the Galaxy.
