Divinity Original Sin 2 is being built using an enhanced next-gen Divinity Engine, making it improved over the original Original Sin engine. With a new user interface, a new approach to their art-style, and hopefully advanced roleplaying systems. But there is a particular focus on narration. Larian Studios have around 80 voice actors covering the 74,000 lines of Divinity Original Sin 2's script. That's around one million words and 1200 characters. It seems like they are not scared about spending some of the $2 million they earned through just their Kickstarter campaign.
With such an in-depth script, the developers hope to increase the replayability of the game, since you will not be able to experience all the action in just one go. Every single character, including non-player characters (NPC), will have voice acting in the game. So buckle up for a long adventure.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is available on Steam as Early Access for £29.99.
Original Sin 2 puts you in the prison colony of Fort Joy where your players have forbidden magic powers and have to discover the secrets of the land by selecting their own origin story. The world will react differently in each scenario.
What are your thoughts about Larian Studios' dedication to the narration? Do you think it is impressive or they are taking this a bit far? Let us know, GD'ers!
