Start your engines, we're back for another round with the other rally racing series. You know, not Dirt, the other. We're talking about WRC 7: FIA World Rally Championship, of course, the official game of the rally championship. WRC 7 features the full 2017 season including 13 countries, 52 stages, 55 teams and every single car. It's the serious rally drivers racing game and it's out this week. Before you buckle up though, here are the official World Rally Championship 7 system requirements.

WRC 7 Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-2115C 2.00 GHz or AMD Athlon II X3 455 3.3 GHz

WRC 6 Recommended System Requirements

  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory

  • DX: DirectX 11

If you're a long-term WRC fan, as I suspect plenty of you reading this are, the system requirements for WRC 7: FIA World Rally Championship remain almost identical to WRC 6. On this evidence, WRC 7 is largely the same game, at least in terms of visuals. The only thing likely to change itself.

Compared to WRC 6, the only difference for WRC 7 is that the installation size has been reduced from 25GB to 19GB. That's it. It's very rare indeed that a sequel's system requirements actually drop, so the good news is that you can expect exactly the same performance from WRC 7 as you got with WRC 6.

For new players, the system requirements for World Rally Championship 7 are about as welcoming as it gets. There should be fantastic degree of scalability here, running on everything from a decade-old graphics up to the much more capable Radeon R9 290 or GeForce GTX 780. You can expect WRC7 to look pretty terrible with a GeForce 9800 GTX, but it will run at least.
