Motocross doesn’t get much love these days. It’s not like the PS2 era when dirt bike games were flooding the market, Still, Milestone is fighting the good fight with the announcement of Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame. It may have a big claim to the worst game name of all time, but it’s looking like a slick stadium racer.
Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame borrows its name from that hideous energy drink’s sponsorship, but it’s the result of a collaboration between Milestone (MotoGP) and Feld Entertainment, a real-life motorsport production company.
Supercross will feature all the Supercross athletes from the Monster Energy AMA Supercross and the FIM World Championship 2017 season, official stadiums with “innovative track designs", a track editor. and a full career mode.
“We are really proud of our partnership with Feld Entertainment,” Luisa Bixio, VP of Milestone, said. “Feld’s expertise in creating valuable entertainment experiences combined with Milestone’s long-standing experience in developing racing games has paved the way for this high-quality title, which is setting up to be the most immersive journey ever in the world of Monster Energy Supercross.”

- GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 or AMD Radeon R9 380 2GB
- DX: DirectX 11
- HDD: 15GB Available Hard Drive Space
Fairly bog-standard system requirements here for Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame, although there's not a huge spec difference between the minimum and recommended requirements. They are a little bit lower that MotoGP 17 though, Milestone's previous game.
In terms of minimum specs, a 2GB video card sounds like a must in order to play Supercross 2017, along with a decent quad-core processor. Anything in this range we think should be OK to run Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame at 1080p resolution. If you're targeting 720p, you may be able to run the game with weaker hardware than stated here.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Game will be available on February 18th, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while a Nintendo Switch version will launch shortly after.
