Obsidian’s been busy chucking coal in the rumour furnace. A rather innocent little Tweet went out from the official Obsidian Twitter account, capitalising on the new 280 character limit. It lists every game Obsidian has developed in its 14-year history, ending with a telltale “???” indicating an unannounced project.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords

Neverwinter Nights 2

Alpha Protocol

Fallout: New Vegas

Dungeon Siege III

South Park: The Stick of Truth

Pillars of Eternity

Armored Warfare

Pathfinder Adventures

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire

As far as lists of games go, that is an imperious one. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire isn’t out of course, but the majority of the rest are top tier. It’s those question marks at the end that’s really ruffled our interest though. Just what could it be? One things for sure, Obsidian isn’t exactly a fan of treading old ground - PoE 2 is the only series it’s revisited.

The big question now is, what secret project is Obsidian working on? Personally I would love it be a sequel to any of the top four games listed. Unlikely, I know, but I can but dream of Alpha Protocol 2. Obsidian has also said recently it would love to do a new Fallout game as well though, so there may well be some behind-the-scenes rumblings between and Obsidian and Bethesda.

Anybody got a good guess as to what Obsidian may be working on next? What would you like it to be? Let us know!
