Amazon Spain has put up specific release dates for the pair, drifting out of placeholder territory which usually indicates these are dates that have been confirmed to the retailer by a supplier.
According to Amazon, the first to arrive will be State of Decay 2 on May 25th, bringing its intoxicating concoction of co-op zombie slaying to Xbox One. State of Decay 2 promises to have a far larger map to explore as well as greatly expanded base building tools.
For those waiting on Crackdown 3, it appears the Spring 2018 release date announced last year may have been a tad optimistic. Instead, Crackdown is allegedly going to be launching on June 29th. Forget going outside with your mates, you can all huddle together for some co-op superhero action.
Looking at Microsoft’s early 2018 lineup now and it’s beginning shape up into something amounting to decent. Things kick off in earnest come March when Sea of Thieves launches, before a two-month wait for State of Decay 2 and then a further month for Crackdown 3. It amounts to a steady a release cycle of exclusives that Microsoft has been sorely missing lately, leaving E3 2018 wide open for Microsoft to announce its raft of exclusives for the back half of the year.
