On paper, the marriage of Eugen Systems’ Wargame series with a grand conflict like World War 2 seemed like a match made it heaven, but there were a few thorny issues still holding Steel Division back from absolute greatness. Under the guidance of Paradox, Eugen has steadily been ironing these out, and the newly announced Steel Division: Normandy 44 - Back to Hell adds a major new pillar to the gameplay - full co-op support.
Steel Division: Normandy 44 - Back to Hell is the second expansion pack for the tactical real-time strategy game. Back to Hell adds cooperative play to the game for the first time, as well as seven new historical missions, four new divisions (The American 4th Armored, the British Commando Brigade, the 9. Panzerdivision and the 16.Luftwaffe), 58 new units and two new Aces (the greatest real-life fighters of the war).
In typical Paradox form, Back to Hell’s release will be joined by the rollout of a free update for all players of the base game. This includes an extra historical extra mission with co-op play, a bit of a taster pack, if you will.
Steel Division: Normandy 44 - Back to Hell will be out on February 13th, priced at £11.39.
