We’re getting deliciously close to Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s launch now, and the hype train is gathering some serious steam. A brooding new trailer has been revealed for the medieval RPG, showcasing Kingdom Come’s stunning world design and one-of-a-kind atmosphere that could end up being very special indeed.
The Blacksmith’s Tale is all about Henry, the hero of our story. He’s a blacksmith's son and not the archetypal hero at all. Henry’s left with little choice but to exact revenge when his family is murdered by the marauding forces of the Holy Roman Empire.
Expectations are wildly high for Kingdom Come now, with developer Warhorse promising a gigantic open-world populated by castles, idyllic rolling fields and dozens of towns. Quest design is totally non-linear and it’s up to the player how they handle any given situation, whether that’s storming into a monastery with blunt force or becoming an actual monk in order to gain entry.
Kingdom Come Deliverance will be out on February 13th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Who thinks this one can live up to the hype? Could we have the next Skyrim on our hands? Let us know what you think!
