I mean - wow. System requirements don't get more comprehensive than what Rare has provided us with for Sea of Thieves. They've even lived up to their claims that they were hoping to get Sea of Thieves running on integrated graphics chips, and are therefore bringing Sea of Thieves to as wide an audience as humanly possible. They deserve a big thumbs up for that, and they also provide a valuable insight into how the minimum requirements provided for a game often aren't the absolute minimum you'll need to run it. If you're okay with dropping the resolution below 720p, Sea of Thieves will run on a very low-end system.

There's not much to add to the hugely detailed information Rare has already provided for Sea of Thieves. Suffice to say, you should be able to pinpoint roughly where your gaming PC sits in regards to Sea of Thieve's system specs and get a fairly accurate estimate of the final performance.

As ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run the Sea of Thieves System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. Compare your graphics card to the Sea of Thieves GPU benchmark chart and we also have a Sea of Thieves Frames Per Second system performance chart for you to check.

Nice and detailed requirements. An interesting thing to point out imo is that after all, Microsoft releases a game exclusively on the Windows store that also runs on DX11 (instead of 12)

I didn't have a framerate counter going, but at 2560x1080 on max settings it looked like it was between 30 and 45 fps when I played the last beta.

Anybody know how much it will cost, approximately?

Just have a look in your local Windows Store for pricing, it's up for pre-order. It comes up as $60 for me. It is available as part of the Xbox Game Pass though, which is normally $10 per month. There's a 2-week trial for the Game Pass so everyone will be able to play Sea of Thieves for free for 2 weeks.

Dang! Interesting to see a below minimum 540/30fps section. Reminds me of the low spec gamer.
