Of Mice and Men. There. Got it out the way. If you are not sure what that is then look it up and feel culturally improved. You're welcome.

Right. Of Orcs and Men. An action RPG, published by Focus Home Interactive and joint developed by Cyanide Studios and Spiders Studios. You are an enormous orc in a mans world. The orcs are persecuted and you are so hard you can kill a man with little more than a flick of your awesome finger. Interested, right? Well lets see if you meet the Of Orcs and Men system requirements...

Of Orcs and Men Minimum System Requirements

OS: Win XP SP3 or Win Vista SP2 or Win 7

CPU: An AMD or INTEL DUAL-CORE 2 GHZ

RAM: 2048 MB Memory

GPU RAM: 512 MB 100% DIRECTX 9 AND SHADERS 4.0 COMPATIBLE

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 3850  or Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT or higher

DX: 9.0c

HD: 6GB Free Hard Drive Space

Audio: DIRECTX 9 COMPATIBLE

I personally always enjoy the art direction from these devs. Often amazing lighting and shading. We can only hope that our review of the game (hopefully on the site next week) will show us that the story and gameplay are equally enthralling.

Fancy playing a human bashing orc with a goblin mate you can chuck about? Well it has certainly piqued my interest for the past year or so and it is due out any day now.

Lip-sync seems to be really bad, but I'll give it a shot.

Seems interesting; though I really wish the gameplay trailer showed more gameplay and less of the orc just screaming at things. I guess this is one we'll just have to see when it's out. :/

But they're so good at screaming at things. People, plants, animals... anything!

Hm, well Tolkien basically invented orcs in mythology, so I guess I think of them moreso how they were in Lord of the Rings. Not too bright, but not totally brutish either, and usually smaller than an average person would be. The big muscular green type orcs we see so frequently nowdays were probably inspired by the ones depicted in the Warhammer series. I still see them as small goblin folk though. ;)

I think this is going to be a better story than "of mice and men". ;)

Nice idea. It makes a change from the 'Humans are da best' thing going on in pretty much every game ever.
On a side note, there's a book about Orcs called... Orcs by Stan Nicholson. Well worth a read as it's all about a clan of Orcs fighting for survival in a world of men. Very good, and well written.
