This one’s kinda come out of nowhere - Antigraviator has had a PC release date alongside a launch trailer. It’s actually the first I’ve even seen of this game, but it’s a Wipeout-style high-speed racer with some absolutely gorgeous 4K visuals and a vicious sense of speed.

Much like Wipeout, Antigraviator has an array of power-ups, boosts and traps to use to come out on top during the gravity-defying races, with the unique twist being that players have unlimited speed. The only thing slowing a racer down is themselves, and they’re free to go as fast as they possibly can, provided they can stay on the track.

“We’re extremely proud of Antigraviator and how the development has gone. We had the opportunity to showcase the game at several events such as GDC and PAX East, and the audience response was very positive” says Mike Coeck, CEO of Cybernetic Walrus. “We know that PC gamers have been looking forward to playing our game and its greatest asset: no speed limit. In addition, we’re working hard on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game and thank console gamers for their patience.”

Antigraviator is coming to PC on June 6th. It’s developed by Cybernetic Walrus and being published by Iceberg Interactive.

I am kinda a bit worried on the facial animations on the characters and also how empty the world looks with just cool and well lit buildings and a vibrant forest. the facial animations can play a critical part for this game. I just hope whtever I am complaining abt will be fixed in the final game. Plz take ur time Ysnet on this one and don't ruin it.

How can it be a launch trailer if it isn't launching? Surely it's just a trailer? Looks cool though.

Surely there's a limit to how fast the game can load the environment though :P Or how fast our eyes can notice the sense of speed. I'm not sure how it won't seem to be limited to a certain point beyond which any increase won't be noticeable. Feels like a gimmicky 'greatest asset'.

it's simple to limit it by track design, you'll probablyy lose speed when cornering
