For the many of us that missed out on the Battlefield V Closed Alpha that ran last week, DICE has confirmed to participants that a second test phase is due to begin in late summer.
In a message to players, DICE said “Thank you for participating in the Closed Alpha. The Battlefield V Close Alpha has now ended. Your participation and feedback are instrumental in helping us make the best WW2 game possible and we appreciated your involvement.
“The next test phase for Battlefield V will arrive in late summer - so stay tuned.”
Actually getting into the test is another matter entirely. For the first Alpha test, a round of invites with a code was sent to a small group of Battlefield players. Unless we hear anything else, it’s going to be the same process for the next test phase. Basically, keep an eye on your inbox and hope for the best.
Should the next test be an open beta, pre-ordering Battlefield V will get you early access to the Battlefield V Open Beta. This will mean an extra few days of playing time before everyone else can get in, although it obviously means lumping down a significant portion of cash.
Battlefield V is out on October 19th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
