Playground Games has been steadily doling out information about the sublime looking Forza Horizon 4, this time taking a look at the Spring season, as well as FH4’s main urban environment - Edinburgh.

As you’ve probably guessed from the capital city, Forza Horizon 4 is based on a loose approximation of Scotland and, perhaps, the wider UK, and over the course of four seasons the map, available routes, and challenges available will change to suit the season.

Playground has showcased more than an hour of footage during a live stream. From minute one Forza Horizon 4 is looking visually just fantastic, complete with massive draw distances and wide open vistas to explore. Edinburgh is a different story though, packed with steep hills and narrow, winding streets that help it apart from previous urban environments in the Forza Horizon series.

In addition to the footage, we’ve also got our first look at the full map for Forza Horizon 4’s Spring season. We can see Derwent Water lake is now unfrozen, while down south it’s all rolling fields.

Forza Horizon 4 is coming to PC and Xbox One on October 2nd.
