With a month to go until its launch, Ubisoft has today announced Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s post-launch content plan. This includes the token season pass in addition to a bunch of free content and, surprise, surprise, Assassin’s Creed III: Remastered.

First of all then, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass, which includes two story arcs. Story Arc 1 is Legacy of the First Blade, an episodic adventure about the first assassin to ever wear the hidden blade. It will allow players to learn the backstory behind the Assassins/

Story Arc II is Fate of Atlantis, a fantasy-themed expansion in which players will confront mythical creatures and head to the legendary sunken city of Atlantic. This is all about Greek Mythology and the First Civilization, providing Ubisoft with an opportunity to get a little crazy with these settings.

In a change for ACO, these episodes will be delivered episodically, with a new episode for each story arc dropping every six weeks or so. In between each episode, there’ll also be free episodic quest lines, dubbed The Lost Tales of Greece. These will give players a constant reason to check back in on Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and explore the new content.

Finally, there’s Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered. The divisive game will be included in its entirety with the AC Odyssey season pass, including all released DLC. On top of this, Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered has also been thrown into the mix. These remasters will have 4K support, higher resolution textures, and a new graphics engine.

It’s a frankly overwhelming amount of Assassin’s Creed content to be honest, although I’m sure there’s an audience for it somewhere.

On top of the ACO season pass, there will also be free content updates for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. This includes the Lost Tales of Greece, the Discovery Tour, recurring in-game events, and a New Game + Mode.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is out on October 5th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
