Ace Combat is back. The anime opera of the skies is all about saving the princess while sat in the cockpit of a fighter jet. Expect ludicrous melodrama, massive aerial battles, and the sort of 360-degree combat which is a rare treat these days. As a 360-degree aerial combat game, it's near enough crucial you achieve a solid frame rate in Ace Combat 7, preferably locked at 60 frames per second at least. Any drop in frame rates could make what's already a disorienting experience turn into a nauseous one. We almost certainly wouldn't want to risk weaker GPU than the minimum suggested graphics cards, and it's the sort of game where frame rate should definitely take priority over resolution and graphical fidelity.
A GeForce GTX 750 Ti or Radeon R7 260X should be seen as the bare minimum GPUs. They'll need to be paired with a low-end yet fairly modern dual-core processor, along with 4GB RAM. As far as system requirements go, the minimum specs for Ace Combat 7 are pretty low, making it an accessible title for most gaming systems.
For those wanting to crank the graphics settings up at 1080p though, a considerably more powerful system is required. A quad-core processor is par for the course here, and it'll need to be running alongside a decent modern video card with at least 3GB VRAM. Anything less and we envision Ace Combat struggling at 1080p.
Last but not least, Ace Combat 7 comes with a massive 60GB install size. There are likely a lot of ground textures to include, as well as lengthy fully-voiced cut-scenes that probably bump up the size of the package considerably.
As ever, remember you can always check out how well your PC can run Ace Combat 7 Skies Unknown System Requirements here, where you can check benchmarking and performance from other users. I am a fan of Ace Combat since AC Unsung War played a lot AC Infinit... I've been waiting for a new ace combat for a long time. Assault Horizon was a pretty mediocre game, so I hope for a glorious comeback!!!
