We’re barrelling towards Life is Strange 2’s release date like nobody’s business, and it’s already time for the launch trailer. In truth, we know very little about what the sequel is going to entail, which can make it all the more enticing in a story-based game like Life is Strange 2.
What we do know is it concerns Sean and Daniel Diaz, two brothers from Seattle. Something tragic happens that forces these two brothers on the run from the place, readjusting to life on the road. Only, it wouldn’t be Life is Strange without some sort of supernatural element. At least one of the brothers has found themselves encumbered (or blessed) with a dangerous power they’re struggling to control.
Life is Strange 2’s five episodes will chart Sean and Daniel’s journey over the course of a full year, as they make their way from Seattle, down the west coast, and hopefully all the way to Mexico.
“Their journey is long and the brothers are woefully unprepared, as they have to set off with very little money and only the items Sean happens to have on him at the time,” explains Square Enix.
“They can steal to survive or take the high road and go without essential supplies for the trip. Either way, what are Sean’s actions teaching Daniel? Now totally responsible for his much younger brother, Sean begins to realize that his decisions will impact their lives forever…”
Episode 1 of Life is Strange 2’s five-episode season will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Thursday, September 27th.
