Forza Horizon 4 is arriving this week and it’s already earning rave reviews. Playground Games’ open-world racer currently sits at an impressive 91% average from 51 reviews, with several sites claiming it’s the greatest racing game ever.

There’s not long to go until we get our mitts on the steering wheel either, although in the meantime Microsoft has dropped a stunning launch trailer for Forza Horizon 4. The gameplay footage shows off the beautiful British countryside that forms the backdrop of this racer, as well as the shared open-world, distinct driving disciplines, and the changing seasons that’ll power the ongoing post-launch events.

“Dynamic seasons change everything at the world’s greatest automotive festival,” says Microsoft. “Go it alone or team up with others to explore beautiful and historic Britain in a shared open world. Collect, modify, and drive over 450 cars. Race, stunt, create and explore – choose your own path to become a Horizon Superstar.”

Forza Horizon 4 is out on October 2nd for PC and Xbox One, or available from September 28th if you splash out a hundred bucks for the Ultimate Edition, which includes early access, a car pass, and all planned expansions.

FH4 is also available via the Xbox Game Pass which could well be the cheapest way to play it. A month subscription costs about $10 and will probably be plenty of time to finish off the single-player campaign.
