A remake of one of Blizzard's most beloved games of all time, WarCraft 3: Reforged was announced over the weekend. Warcraft III: Reforged is the classic real-time strategy game given a spit and polish with reworked visuals, enhanced audio, remastered cut-scenes, and stronger map-making and mod support. For those after an RTS fix, Warcraft 3: Reforged could be just the thing. Looking at the newly released system specs for Warcraft III, it should also run on just about anything.

Warcraft III: Reforged Minimum System Requirements

• CPU: Intel Pentium D 805 2.67 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ 1.9 GHz
• RAM: 2 GB System Memory
• GPU RAM: 256 MB Video Memory
• GPU: GeForce 6800 GT or Radeon HD 3650
• DX: DirectX 9
• HDD: 3 GB Available Hard Drive Space

There is a fairly large performance disparity between the minimum Intel and AMD processors for Warcraft 3: Reforged, but this is practically a non-issue based upon how low-end both the Pentium D 805 and the Athlon 64 X2 3600+ are. Any and every modern CPU can blitz past the performance of these two processors so this only becomes a problem if you're trying to run the Warcraft 3 remaster on very old hardware.

It's a similar tale for the rest of the Warcraft 3 Reforged minimum system requirements, in truth. These system specs are as low-end as it gets and should ensure Warcraft 3 HD should run excellently on a wide range of PC gaming systems.

Blizzard has said these minimum specs for Warcraft III: Reforged are subject to change, although we don't envision any major changes between now and the game's launch in 2019.
