Due to hit PC on December 13th, PoE2: The Forgotten Sanctum has players heading to an expansive new dungeon built into the flesh of a sleeping god. Lovely. It can be found in the Black Isles (cheeky wink) and promises to be the toughest challenge yet for players.
Expect wizards, and probably evil ones at that, messing with things they shouldn’t in the name of progress and/or immortality. They never do learn.
The Forgotten Sanctum arrives alongside patch 4.0 for Pillars of Eternity 2. This adds an additional sub-class per class, respawning ships on the ocean map, a pair of new mega bosses and a bunch of new Magran’s Fire challenges for the masochists among you.
Ah, and console players haven’t been abandoned either. Pillars of Eternity 2 was meant to be out by the end of the year on PS4, Xbox One and Switch but it’s been MIA. Obsidian has said rest assured the console version is coming and there should be more news shortly.
